Ludhiana, February 06, 2026 (News Team): The District Administration, Ludhiana, in association with Fortis Hospital, Mall Road, Ludhiana, organised a two-day Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp at Bachat Bhawan, DC Office, Ludhiana, on 4th and 5th February 2026. The initiative aims to promote preventive healthcare and provide accessible medical services to the community.
The camp offers free consultations in multiple specialties including General Check-up, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Pulmonology, and Neurology, as per the scheduled timings. In addition, free diagnostic services such as BP check, blood sugar, PFT, ECG, Hepatitis B and C testing, and doctor consultation are being provided.
The camp has been organised under the vision, guidance and close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana, Mr. Himanshu Jain, whose proactive approach and special efforts made this large-scale public health initiative possible. The Deputy Commissioner actively facilitated coordination between the District Administration and Fortis Hospital to ensure seamless planning, logistics and execution of the camp, with the objective of extending quality healthcare services to a wider section of society.
Gurdarshan Singh Mangat, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Mall Road, Ludhiana, along with senior clinicians and specialists from Fortis Hospital, are overseeing the medical services at the camp.
The initiative reflects the joint commitment of the District Administration and Fortis Hospital to enhance health awareness and ensure quality healthcare reaches people at the grassroots level.
