: Schools for Classes 10, 11, and 12 in Punjab are all set to open from July 26, with Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday announcing further relaxations, including increase in the number of people in indoor gatherings to 150 and outdoors to 300, subject to an upper limit of 50% of the capacity.

As Covid cases continue to rise rapidly across the country, including in Punjab, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday ordered stricter restrictions beginning tomorrow, including extension of night curfew timings (8 pm to 5 am), closure of all bars, cinema halls, Gyms, spas, coaching centres, sports complexes, with restaurants and hotels to be open only for takeaway and home delivery from Monday to Saturday.
