Ludhiana, May 31, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Keeping in line with its philosophy of nurturing each child’s individual talent, BBPS had organized a fun-filled summer camp which commenced on 20 May 2017 and reached its culmination today on 31 May 2017. The campers were provided with an opportunity to learn, keep fit and have fun in a safe, exciting and joyful environment. This supervised quality sporting program was designed to give sports lovers an opportunity to accentuate their individual talents.

The participants were offered different sports activities like Karate, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Table Tennis, Skating etc. to develop them socially, mentally, emotionally and physically. The camp provided a perfect platform for children of all age groups to strengthen their sports abilities. Children updated themselves with the basic techniques of Basket Ball like dribbling, bounce pass, chest pass, lay up shot etc. which improved their throwing and running abilities. Fundamentals of badminton like serve practice, drop shot, smash etc. were taught to the students who opted for the game.

Swimmers enjoyed in the pool learning some free style strokes and some drills in a positive and challenging environment. The importance of footwork and basic strokes of Table Tennis were also taught to the learners. The campers were guided with fundamental techniques of Karate like maygari kicks, augiuki blocks and auichuki punches for self-defense.

A 10 days long session on ‘Protocol, Etiquette and Courtesies’ which was a part of Summer Camp being conducted by a resource person from International School of Etiquette (ISOE) Finishing Academy, Ludhiana also culminated on a happy note nurturing self discipline among its members and grooming them to be sophisticated humans. All the participants of the camp were given training certificates.

Principal Punam Dogra communicated that BBPS takes pride in offering creative, innovative and structured lessons for one and all. The school plans to offer such engaging opportunities in future as well.
