A student making colourful geometrical design during Talent Hunt Competition at GCG
Ludhiana, August 16, 2017 (Tarvinder Kaur): Post graduate department of Fine Arts of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana organized a Talent Hunt Competition in the college premises. Principal Prof. Dr. Mohinder Kaur Grewal was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Manju Sahni, HOD of Fine Arts welcomed the chief guest on the occasion.

In Poster making competition students highlighted the social issues in their work and 58 students participated in 7 different categories in the competition. Rangoli competition was interesting as students chose to make colourful geometrical designs to show festivity. On this occasion the college Principal appreciated the students with her encouraging and motivational words. Mandeep Kaur and other members of the Fine Arts department were also present on the occasion.

In Still Life competition Gurpreet Kaur, Shivani and Baljinder Kaur got 1st, 2nd and third prizes. In Rangoli Tanu and Amandeep Kaur got 1st and 2nd prizes. Gurleen Kaur and Khusboo Singla got 1st and 2nd prizes in Collage Making, in Cartooning 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes won by Manpreet Kaur, Khushi and Aashima Gupta. In Poster Making Jaspreet Kaur, Harsha Goel and Harman Kaur got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, in photography Prabhleen and Bhavya got 1st and 2nd prizes and in Landscape Gursharan, Mandeep Kaur and Harmanjot Kaur got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
