Ludhiana, June 06, 2017 (Manisha Sharma): Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated 'World Environment Day' with full vigour as mark of devotion towards mother Earth. The objective was to create awareness among students on the importance of environmental protection, as well as fostering to be more empathetic towards nature.

The students participated in Poster Making Activity displaying their artistic skills and showcasing their awareness about perseverance and cleanliness of the environment. The children expressed their views and thoughts about their mother Earth with the help of beautiful and colourful posters. One could witness the aesthetic expressions and enthusiasm that the children portrayed in their presentations.

Addressing students on the occasion Principal, Jyoti Pujara appreciated the artistic skills of students. She added that we are fortunate to have born on Earth and we should join our hands together to make it as the most beautiful place to live on. We need to be more cautious to save our environment from impending degradation and disasters. She said, "Together we can make every day an Environment Day and each one of us in the school as well as in society, can make a difference."
