Ludhiana, July 30, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Total 100 students from various parts of North India were today selected under scholarship in the 2nd scholarship Mela organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, at PHD Chamber, Sec-31 in Chandigarh.

The Mela was inaugurated by Prof Roshan Lal Kataria, Chief Patron, Aryans Group. Over 425 students from the region visited throughout the day wherein they were given on the spot counseling and scope of various courses, on the spot scholarship, on the spot admission and education loan by India Overseas Bank. 100 students on merit cum means basis for over 71.30 lacs were selected out of which 20 students were selected under B.Tech, 15 under Diploma, 15 under B.Sc (Agri), 10 in BBA/BCA, 5 in B.Com, 5 in MBA, 10 in Law, 10 in Nursing, 10 in B.Ed and MA (Edu) etc.

Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria, Chief Patron, Aryans Group while congratulating the students and parents said that Aryans has taken the initiative and has started a series in which those students who are deprived of pursuing higher education would be benefitted from maximum part of India. He thanked media for the support and taking this campaign to maximum people.

Sukhaman Bath, Registrar, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that earlier to this 100 students of Chandigarh, Rajpura and Patiala region were awarded with scholarship in various courses. On the same pattern Aryans would continue its effort to reach every corner of maximum States to help such needy students to come forward for their education.

Bath further added that we shouldn't make education a commercial sector. Every institution should feel it's responsibility and should target at least 10% financial constraint students and help them in reaching their dreams.

Manpreet Mann, Dean Scholarship dept, Aryans Group added that around 40% students from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, JK, North east, Bihar, Jharkhand etc in Aryans are studying under various scholarship schemes.
